A lot of people these days feel they can not do Marketing. Really it’s not that hard. The hardest part is gathering your Marketing Material together. Well move on to this section a little later, but first, lets talk about how to get your posts noticed amongst thousands of other posts that are made daily to hundreds of thousands of lists.

Subject line:

The subject line of your posts are the most important things to take into consideration before you send your adverts out as these are what the readers see first.

Try keeping your subject titles to a max of 6 words, or less (It’s okay to use a little over the recommended amount, just try to not over extend the title of your subject lines). Over extending the subject titles are hard to read and funny enough although true, time consuming to read. The idea is to gather the reader’s attention in one second or less and grab their interest enough so it makes them click the post to see what you’ve typed.

Lets say for example you’re promoting a web site that offers to pay you interest on spends you make to the HYIP program, it offers referral commissions and pays on many levels, pays weekly, or daily depending on the payment method the member chooses, accepts egold, Ebullion and a few other eCurrency processors, and it’s just started and has quite a few members already.

Think for a moment, what would make you click on the post?

You could make subject lines like.

Just started – BRAND NEW! JOIN NOW!
Unlimited income opportunity just started!
Get paid in egold daily or weekly!
I’ll give you back 50% referral commission!
5 level deep commission levels, thousands joined already!
New HYIP, paying on time, many happy campers!
GOLD RUSH! Just started – jump in now!

Etc, etc, etc. Would you click any of those titled posts? If not, revise some more, make as many subject titles as you can, the more the merrier. One or many of them will be winners!

Send from column:

Have you noticed when people send their posts you either see their name in the “Send from” column, or their email address? Why not use this section too to add more power to our adverts. I used this all the time and it’s very powerful.

Suppose we want to take out some words from our subject posts that are most dominant on the eye, for instance: JOIN NOW, BRAND NEW, HOT, GOLD RUSH, etc. We can remove those from our subject titles and have these added in the send from column instead, then we have to modify our subject titles a little.

So now what you will see is something like this in your inbox.

GOLD RU$H – Earn unlimited income today, hundreds being paid daily!
AWE$OME – Just started, get paid on 5 levels and more!
JOIN NOW! – Get paid daily or weekly, hundreds joined in days already!

See how it weighs a lot heavier than the other simple subject lines we used before, it’s like we’re extending our titles by giving the user the second nudge to make them click the posts. When I started using this method of advertising, my click through rate more than doubled. Did you also notice I used the letter S and replaced it with a dollar symbol ($). These are quite effective ways to get the readers attention too.

Same too as using some sort of design to your subject titles, for instance:

---- >>> JOIN TODAY – JUST $TARTED <<<< ----
$$$$ CA$H MAGNET $$$$

These are also good ways to grab the user’s attention too, not only can you use them in your subject titles, but in the send from columns and body of your emails too.

I’ll re edit this page and show you some images later on how to set them up, so check back sometime for an update.

Body of the email:

The idea here is not to be too over explanatory, you just need to type enough to make them click the link inside the email.

Try keeping your descriptions (pitches) to less than 80 words. And don’t type in a single line as you see here. Make sure that each line is of about 6 to 10 words in length. It’s easier on the eye to read and users find it quicker to read lines that are of short length.

You also need to make sure that you encapsulate the site in one sitting; picking out at least 5 key points of the site that you feel that would interest the user and yourself.

Who would out of the thousands of people you post to, not click those adverts? Well, those not interested in the HYIP Arena for sure, but there are over 600,000 people on the internet that are! And later I’ll show you the places to target your adverts to.

Follow-ups:

Another important element to Internet Marketing is follow-ups. After you’ve posted your first draft (introduction post) to people, it’s very important not to keep using the same advert (pitch) all the time. People will just get bored of your posts and delete them or if they recognise your adverts just skip over to the next one that interests them.

There are ways around this which I’ll explain a little later.

So, when it comes to making another post about the said program you’re trying to promote, try to make each post like an update, but also in the same format as the rest as described above.

Mix it up a little, change the approach angles, like, they can still be introduction posts but just rephrase it differently. Find other people’s posts about the program too, I’m sure someone who’s in the program will offer help or show you their adverts too or places where they promote so you can keep an eye out for their adverts.

Don’t try copying them, just use them as examples, take elements out of them and use your own words otherwise it just defeats the purpose of finding your own style.

As mentioned above some people may skip your posts if they are the same, but they will not know until they click the post if you changed the subject title. Remember above I gave a few examples and mentioned that it’s best to create as many subject title lines as possible?

You see, even if the person who reads your post isn’t interested in joining, they may at another date. They may not even be interested in the HYIP Arena, but over time they might take that first step to see what it’s about.

It’s said that 1 in 8 posts are clicked on by the regular reader and 1 in 12 posts a person will join after reading the post when seeing the same web site being promoted regardless who promoted it, or if it was the same advert. Or even take a look at the web site.

Remember, the web site that you want them to read should do most of the selling on the first page, if that’s not going to interest them, then not much else will unless they have a change of heart. But don’t worry too much about it; it’s quite easy to reach over 100,000,000 people, yes, 100 million people!
